Frequently Asked Questions

What do your prices include?

The prices include transferring, cleaning when necessary, fixing broken film, and 1 DVD.

How do I get my films to your business?

You can drop them off, or we can meet at a local place, or you can ship them to us. Please message us on our contact us page for more shipping information.

How Do You Want the films?

We would like them as is. It is best to NOT try to view them with a projector, since the age of the films may cause damage to your films. Also, original, small film boxes will usually have info on them such as subject or date. This helps to keep the films in date order and to have titles for each film. If possible, number the films in the order you wish for the DVD.

What Is Your Experience?

We have been transferring films to media for over 30 years, even back when the media of choice was VHS!

What type of transfer equipment do you use?

We use brand new, state of the art Movie Stuff TV equipment for 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm, made in the good old USA!.

Can I edit my film transfer footage myself ?

For smaller files, we can burn them as files on a DVD.  For larger files, we can supply them on an external hard drive.  You can send one of yours or we can supply one at extra cost. The cost is around $20 plus media (DVD, Thumb Drive, Hard Drive)
